Visible marks versus tracking codes
A visible watermark with your handle deters casual re-sharing and tells anyone who finds a copy where it came from. A tracking code does something different: a short code, such as a fan's initials or a bundle number, repeated small at a random position. If the image leaks, the code tells you which send it came from. The studio keeps a local CSV log of file, code and date, which only you hold.
Where to place it
A mark in one corner is cropped out in seconds. A diagonal tiled mark across the image is the hardest to remove without ruining the photo. For previews on social platforms, a subtle centred mark is a fair compromise. OnlyFans also offers a free watermark in its privacy and safety settings; use it for content on the platform, and this studio for content you send elsewhere.
Location data
Photos from a phone often contain the GPS position where they were taken. Exports from this studio do not carry the original metadata, so the location is gone. That matters if you work anonymously.

Questions creators ask
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The studio uses your browser's canvas. Photos are processed on your device and never sent anywhere. You can test it in airplane mode.
Does it remove location data?
Yes. Exported images are drawn fresh on a canvas, so the original EXIF data, including GPS location, is not carried over.
Can watermarks be removed?
A single corner mark can be cropped or edited out. Tiled marks and small tracking codes at varying positions are much harder to remove, which is why the studio offers both.
